Is a sauna membership worth it? Work out your cost per session.

Compare the published founding prices with the visits you will actually use, including access limits and the total commitment.

A sauna membership is worth considering when its included visits, access times and total cost fit your routine. There is no universal break-even point: use the actual plan and realistic attendance.

One useful sum.

Divide the membership cost for a billing period by the number of included visits you expect to use in that same period. Compare that figure with an equivalent casual visit. Add peak surcharges, towel hire, transport and any other costs that apply.

For example, Reset at $19.95 a week costs $19.95 per visit if you use one included off-peak visit each week, or about $9.98 per visit if you use two. These are arithmetic examples, not an attendance recommendation. The plan’s access rules and remaining terms still apply.

Saunday’s current Narrabeen founding offer.

First-release Narrabeen founding rates are Reset $19.95, Routine $25.95, Ritual $45.95 per week, billed fortnightly. The rate is held for the first 12 months from opening.

  • Reset includes off-peak access; peak sessions cost extra.
  • Routine includes off-peak access and one peak session each week.
  • Ritual includes peak and off-peak access, with towel hire included.
  • Planned sessions are 75 minutes, with a maximum of one session a day.
  • Prices are stated per week and billed fortnightly. Check the full offer for guest passes and booking lead times.

The founding membership page holds the current prices and inclusions. The published offer is for Narrabeen; it does not establish Darlinghurst pricing.

When casual visits may suit you.

For a dated comparison of operating venues and our planned offer, read sauna prices in Australia. It shows casual prices alongside visit lengths, towel costs and source links.

If you are still learning whether you enjoy the experience, travel often or cannot use the available hours, a casual option may make more sense where one is available. Do not buy a recurring plan around attendance you only hope to achieve.
